This new animal shelter for Adams County, Colorado is located in the Adams County Regional Park. A traffic impact study was completed for the shelter and a new traffic signal was designed for the Park Boulevard connection to 120th Parkway.

A traffic analysis and parking study was completed for a proposed scenic gondola in Idaho Springs, Colorado. The gondola will be a major tourist attraction within the town

Craig performed traffic engineering consulting services for conceptual design to improve congestion and circulation around the visitor center. The concepts needed to function for both summer and winter conditions as the park operates year round.

CivTrans has completed intersection analysis to assist design of two intersections (Colorado & Tipple and Silver Birch & Godding Hollow). Analysis included evaluating traffic signal warrants, auxiliary turn lane lengths, traffic signal phasing and timing and assessing appropriate intersection geometry for long-range (20-year) conditions.

Traffic impact studies, auxiliary lane evaluation and CDOT access permit assistance has been completed for multiple proposed aggregate pits within Weld County. Brannan is an industry leader in construction material production along the Colorado Front Range. Each site experiences significant truck traffic for hauling construction materials to construction sites and to concrete and asphalt plants.

This site is located within Taxi Campus in Denver's River-North (RINO) district. A shared parking study was completed for the proposed apartments to minimize the paved parking area for the overall mixed-use development.

With the addition of two light-rail stations adjacent to the Denver Design District, the Broadway Park redevelopment project will be a transit-oriented project to be built out over the next thirty (30) years. It will be comprised of a mix of uses (residential, hotel, office, retail). CivTrans has completed a mobility study for the master development and advised on roadway infrastructure improvements internal and external to the site.

A traffic study and traffic signal modification design was completed for this automobile sales facility in Lakewood, Colorado. The existing power feed for the signal needed to be upgraded and CivTrans met onsite with the power company to determine the best source and routing.

A K-8 charter school in the Town of Parker has been experiencing queue spillback off of their campus during arrival and dismissal period for student drop-off / pick-up. Craig worked with school administrators and Town staff to develop strategies to mitigate the queuing.
